SENIOR MEMBER SPOUSE REGISTRATION
Join us for the 2025 WAWG CADET BALL on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the McChord Club, Joint Base Lewis-McChord. This all-day event runs from 0900–2200 and features information about future cadet opportunities and career-focused programs, demonstrations, and displays within our armed services. The day concludes with a formal dinner, guest speaker, milestone promotions, awards, and a dance.
COST
Registration is $65 per person (scholarships may be available through your squadron) and registration closes October 9. Space is limited! There is an option to attend the dinner/dance only- please see session breakouts for this option.
The Cadet Career Day before the banquet is free!
MEALS
Your registration includes a USO hot dog lunch, and buffet dinner, with a choice of a Hawaiian buffet or a vegetarian entrée. Water and limited snacks available during the day. Overnight Billeting will include DFAC breakfasts.
BILLETING- Limited
Limited billeting is available for squadrons traveling more than 75 miles or and more than 2 hours. Please see sub events within the registration to choose billeting option. There are TWO billeting options:
FRIDAY PM ARRIVAL
(having had dinner) departing Sunday 0800. This is for the farthest distances such as Omak/Spokane/Eastern Wa. This will be via McChord Field Gate Exit I25 off I-5. Drop off at WAWG head quarters: 308 Pitsenbarger Blvd, McChord AFB. Please sign up for Friday Billeting in sub-events. We will automatically count Saturday with this option.
SATURDAY AM ARRIVAL
(having had breakfast) departing Sunday 0800. This is for distances over 75 miles where there is extended travel time such as North Peninsula, Vancouver, Bellingham and travel time over 2 hours. Please sign up for Saturday Billeting in subevents. Drop off is at the McChord Club (gear storage is available).
Choose the applicable sub-event in the registration. We will need a head count for planning purposes and coverage for cadet protection. A follow-up email will be sent after registration closes with a packing list and more detailed information for billeting.
ALLERGIES, DIETARY NEEDS, ACCOMMODATIONS, AND MEDICATION
Please ensure that your CAPHealth Profile is accurate and up to date with any allergies, dietary needs, all other accommodation requests, and an accurate list of current medications. If this information is not complete and accurate at the time you register, we may not be able to accommodate your needs.
BASE ACCESS
Please note that JBLM is a restricted installation; carefully review the entry requirements below and check with your squadron for possible carpools.
BASE ENTRY NOTICE
JBLM is a controlled access installation. Vehicles with an adult, authorized Department of Defense ID cardholder (18 or older) may enter JBLM through the McChord Field Main gate (I-5 exit 125). Vehicles without an authorized DOD ID card holder (18 or older) present must report to the McChord Field Main Gate Visitors Center to receive a Temporary Pass. To do this, you must have a REAL ID valid driver's license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and have an adult authorized DOD sponsor willing to sponsor your base access. Sponsors must be available by phone to complete the pass issuance process. *On the date of this event, October 25 from 0800-1030, we will have two CAP Senior Members available at the McChord Field Visitor’s Center gate to act as sponsors to assist in obtaining a temporary day pass that will allow you to regain entry for cadet pick up. Pick up is 2200 at the McChord Club.
