Dr. Sylvie Kacmarcik, Major, CAP
Activity and Academic Director

Sylvie Kacmarcik is the Assistant Director of Aerospace Education (AE) and the Cyber Education Officer for the Civil Air Patrol's Pacific Region and Washington Wing. She also serves on the CAP National AE Volunteer Team as the AE Cyber Education Coordinator, and is involved with their AE Education  Group and AE STEM Group. She has over 34 years of experience teaching STEM to all ages and is Montessori Certified for 0-12 years old. She is an adjunct professor in the department of Earth & Environmental Sciences of a local community college.

Maj. Kacmarcik spearheaded the Washington Wing Cyber Education Training (WAWG-CET) program, which trains cadets and provides guidance and resources to officers. She expanded the AFA CyberPatriot program by introducing Computer Science & Engineering topics including electronics, robotics,  Python programming, cybersecurity and career exploration by meeting industry specialists. As part of this program, the WAWG-CET hosts the Green Darner Cyber Education Academy which is a CAP Nationally-Accredited Cadet Special Activity.

Cadet First Lieutenant Brenton Natale
Cadet Commander

C/1st Lt Brenton Natale serves as the Charlie Flight Commander at Overlake Composite Squadron and is the Cadet Commander for Green Darner VI. He has a wide-range of experiences in Civil Air Patrol, from training Ground Team members for Emergency Services missions, to mentoring cadets in cyber at Green Darner. He has extensive Cadet Programs experiences through 4 encampments as Flight and Squadron Staff.

C/1st Lt Brenton Natale has supported Green Darner Cyber Camp since Green Darner 3 serving as instructor, Flight Commander, First Sergeant, and Cadet Deputy Commander.

Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Lucas Morrow
Assistant to the Commandant

C/Lt Col Lucas Morrow currently serves as the Washington Wing Headquarters Cadet Activities Officer and Pacific Region Cadet Advisory Council Recorder. He is assigned to Northshore Composite Squadron and will serve as Assistant to the Commandant at Green Darner VI. C/Lt Col Morrow joined Civil Air Patrol in February 2020, and has served in a variety of roles including WAWGCAC Chair, Recorder, and Squadron Cadet Commander. He has served in a variety of roles, including as a High Frequency Communications Net Control Station for North Central Region.

C/Lt Col Morrow has been a contributing member to Green Darner Cyber Education Academies, including duties as Student, Flight Sergeant, Public Affairs Officer, Cadet Deputy Commander, and Cadet Commander.

Captain Veronica Ho
Assistant Director

Captain Ho currently serves as the Unit Commander of the Paine Field Composite Squadron. Her dedication to Civil Air Patrol encompasses leadership in Cadet Programs, mentorship for CyberPatriot, fostering STEM education through Aerospace Education initiatives in local elementary schools, and active participation in Emergency Services, including Aerial Photography and Mission Radio Operations.

Professionally, Captain Ho is a key contributor at AT&T Labs, where she works under FirstNet Mission Critical Services, supporting vital communications for public safety.

As a founding member of Green Darner, Captain Ho brings valuable industry perspective to the Academy, enriching its curriculum with real-world use cases and immersive hands-on activities.
