The numbers of items are carefully selected to ensure you have what you need to succeed. Please bring exactly what is on the list. There are very few items listed as (Optional) the remainder of the items are mandatory for your success.
NOTE: All participants need to bring their own pillow
ARRIVAL:
Encampment is held at: Camp Rilea, Armed Forces Training Center, 33168 Patriot Way, Warrenton, OR, 97146-9711
Check-in time is between 1300 (1:00pm) and no later than 1400 (2:00 pm) on July 5, 2026.

Students will arrive having had lunch, and wearing their complete ABU or OCPs in accordance with CAPR 39-1 (including sewn on name tape and Civil Air Patrol tape, grade insignia, ABU or OCP matching cap, and proper hair cut/style, etc). Nametape, Civil Air Patrol tape, and grade insignia are required, other patches, such as Wing/Unit are encouraged but optional.
PICK-UP:
The Pass-in-Review Graduation Parade will be held at Camp Rilea starting promptly at 11:00 A.M. on 12 July 2026.

Families are welcome at the parade - graduating cadets will showcase what they have learned at encampment! Parents and Guest should arrive no earlier than 10:15 A.M.

Guests may want to bring lawn chairs as seating is NOT available on the Parade Grounds at Camp Rilea.

Check out will be at approximately 12:15 P.M. following the graduation pass in review parade, Students must check out with their assigned Training Officer.

Cadre and Senior Member Staff release time is 1500 (3:00pm) to assist in clean up and turn in of equipment and facilities.
TRANSPORTATION:

If possible, we would prefer you make your own arrangements to arrive and depart from Cascade Falcon. If you do require assistance with transportation to or from the airport, we may be able to offer limited shuttle service on the day of arrival, and on the day of departure.

Shuttle service will be offered on a limited basis on 5 July. Shuttle will leave PDX airport at 1100hrs, your flight must land prior to 1015hrs. If you can not arrange a flight to get into PDX prior to 1015hrs on 5 July, then you will need to fly in on 4 July prior to 1715 hrs for the 1800hrs shuttle.

Transportation TO the Airport from Encampment will leave Camp Rilea at 1:00 PM on July 12. Your flight MUST depart on or after 5:00 PM in order to be able to make your flight.

Civil Air Patrol Encampments are a carefully designed, age-appropriate, military-style training environment. Encampment will challenge cadets to develop self-discipline and teamwork while learning leadership skills, military bearing and broadening their understanding of aerospace and the Cadet Program.
Please talk with your home squadron's senior member leaders about encampment to ensure you are mentally and physically ready for this activity.
