Cyber Education Camps are one of the best opportunities to quickly acquire knowledge about cybersecurity to help protect yourself and those around you against cyber threats in our digital society.

These camps are possible thanks to the partnering of CAP National with the Air Force Association CyberPatriot and Cisco  Networking Academy to provide us with teaching materials and virtual images.

Additionally, the Western Washington University Cyber Range and CYBER.org Range are supporting the Washington Wing Cyber Education Programs by providing us with training virtual images in secure working environments.

The WAWG Green Darner Cyber Education Camp will allow cadets to learn the basics of Computer Science & Engineering and Cybersecurity to test their interest or to launch themselves into this field. Participants will have the opportunity to explore various cyber careers in military and civilian fields. It is also a great camp in preparation for the AFA CyberPatriot competition season.

This camp will cover the curricula of the AFA CyberPatriot which are supplemented by various Computer Science and Engineering topics. Guest speakers and instructors from various industries (Military, Computer, Aerospace) will give the participants the professional perspective of cyberspace. Field trips to local professional environments will give participants the opportunity to see these specialists in action and to ask questions.
