Washington Wing invites you (adult AND cadet members) to a weekend of learning, camaraderie, and progress at the 2026 Washington Wing Conference in Yakima, WA the weekend of April 10-12. The weekend will be full of great events, town hall meetings, seminars, and leveling up your capabilities as a Civil Air Patrol member. If you have any questions, please email conference@wawg.cap.gov.

Friday Education and Training Courses

Education and Training – Level 2 Moderated Modules.

This professional level 2 session will help students work on modules that require a VolU instructor.  It is also a great way to meet other members within the wing.

Prerequisite:  Have completed Level 1

·        Attire:   CAP Polo Shirt uniform

Education and Training – Level 4 Moderated Modules.

This professional level 4 session will help students work on modules that require a VolU instructor.  It is also a great way to meet other members within the wing.

Prerequisites:  Have completed Level 3

·        Attire:  CAP Polo Shirt uniform

Pre session assignments will be sent out to the members that register

GTM3 (Ground Team Member)

This core class will be to help students working on the GTM3 qualifications. 

·        Attire:  Any approved CAP Uniform

Need to bring your SQTR

Need to bring a compass

AE Specialty Track 

The core class will be to help students who are in the AE specialty track progress through the knowledge sections of the CAPP 50-2 requirements. This applies for students working on their Technician Rating as well as students working on their Senior rating. It's a great chance to meet the Wing level AE leadership team and do some networking as well.
